The information we provide is scientifically supported to help consumers make better informed choices about what they eat.  Scientific research shows that beef is a naturally nutrient-rich food that can be part of a healthy diet.  Dietary balance, variety, moderation and physical activity are the keys to health.  We encourage individuals with specific health concerns that require dietary modification to consult a physician followed by nutrition counseling from a Registered Dietitian.

This straightforward visual gets back to the basics, illustrating how to create a healthful plate with a balanced mix of nutrition from a variety of foods. MyPlate emphasizes fruit, vegetable, grains, protein and dairy food groups.
